  • GMT, Day and Date

    Hi guys!

I am just wondering if there is a watch come with these 3 funtions, GMT, day and date? Normally, we only see GMT and Date but no day, or just day and date, no GMT! So, I just curious if this kind of watch exists! Thanks.

If you meant GMT function like Rolex, usually -as you said- you can find combination of day/date and date/GMT. To my knowlege, reason for this, majority of the watches are using ETA movement. Day/Data=ETA 2836-2, Date/GMT = ETA 2893-2. Combining all 3 is possible, but some modification on the stock movement needed.

If you want to have 'world time' function, day and date, Orient make few models combining all these 3 functions

Oh it is not necessary has to be Rolex... so Orient did come out with something that combine all 3 functions... hmmm... I'll check it out. Thanks! So, swiss made ones are quite not possible to have all these functions in one watch, mainly because they are all using ETA... and nobody really thought about combining these 3 function?! What a waste! It could be a great watch for everyday use!

                Thanks Hary...

Been searching for few days and only able to find this 1, Oris Artelier Complication, http://www.oris.ch/collections/colle...duct=184&ln=en This is as close as I can find and I think should fit into my budget and should be a good everyday beater. Anybody knows the price?

by the way, I still prefer GMT pointer and Day+date in windows, something like EXPII with 1 extra window for day! Guess this watch doesnt exisit...
