I ever stepped into THG at Orchard and the SE somehow is serving another of his client.

He makes use of me to promote his Sub (talking behind of me) and he said "look...nowadays many young guy (but I am NOT young) wearing sport model - Sub".

I look see look see and ask do you have stock for GMT II 16710, SE answer NO and then I leave the place.

          Cheers,

Most of the times when i have ready cash to buy a watch, i'd wear my Seiko!
Purposely look at the SE/SA reactions.
If they're not willing to entertain me just cause i'm wearing Seiko while others are with Rolex, Pannies..
            Then too bad..!
Rather go Chinatown let those auntie uncle earn commision..

Never judge a watch lover by the watch on the wrist
Its the watches he keeps at home that matters...

was the SA/SE a pretty girl? ... maybe she interested in you la... hence ask you to write name/addy.

on a more serious note, usually name will suffice, never heard of address, since you may move and become out of date............. I wonder if you tell them you are from o'sea, can leave blank or not? ie. open warranty papers

If I am serious buying, usually I go 'naked' to the shop. Buy and come back with new watch on the wrist

yes, ive done that before, but I cant seem to go without having a watch. Seems wierd to me. However usually I put the old one in the box, and walk out with new one on my wrist
