HONG Kong movie superstar Jackie Chan and singer-songwriter Emil Chau have bought four apartments at the upmarket Centennia Suites worth over $10 million.
Chan is believed to have picked up three units making up an entire floor while Chau went for a three-bedroom apartment, all on the mid- to high floors of the 36-storey condominium on the former Kim Seng Plaza site, reported The Business Times on Thursday.
They visited the showflat last Friday when they were in town for Sunday's Thong Chai Charity Night.
The average price of a Centennia Suites unit is about $2,000 to $2,100 per square foot.
The 97-unit freehold condominium project, opposite Great World City and facing the Singapore River, is expected to be completed in 2013.
