it should be "thank god nobody's killed or injured because of her actions" not "no one is killed/injured so a slap on the wrist would do"
am afraid in Singapore... some of the law doesn't make sense...

If you grow your weed for own consumption, in other countries, you get a lighter sentence...

In some cases, I do agree that if no one is killed or injured, the person committing an offense should get a lighter sentence... then again, it is a fine line sometimes..

what terrenceterrence said r correct. we should be gratefully that no 1 is injured because of her actions or else this doc will be in deep shi* and what terrenceterrence did was just to quote an example meaning u sow what u reap. Well R-oyster it u yourself that said that it will be quite traumatic for the doc if she was to be jailed. if she did not do illegal things, do u think this will happen? traumatic for the doc? haha imagine really got victims then i guess the doc really will need to get traumatic and come on, the alcohol level is way over the legal limit. my own personal opinions r that she should receive a more heavy sentence but what chould have saved her was maybe she is a doc that help a lot of ppl so the law is compassionate haha or maybe got what other factors i do not know

on the flip side.. this case would be a god send for those caught drunk driving in the future.

this would set a precedent for cases in the future.

e.g. i was out drinking in St James and got a phone call that my dog/goldfish CMI anymore. too traumatised to think straight and decided to drive home to make it for the last few minutes of by beloved dog/fish.

if my alcohol level is lower than 4 times the permitted level and no one is hurt you better not fine me more than 5k.

Haha, I agree, good one too! This is how common/case law should work anyway.

And all Bros here , I'm sure the work that we do benefit others too!

Whatever it is, I'm glad she was under the influence driving, not when performing surgery. Now, that'll be a good one!
