I nv stated or ever say that he's guilty or whatsoever,I'm just sharing my experience with the seller to the TS.Based on my experience with the seller,I just feel that there's too much doubt with the seller that's why I give the watch that the seller is selling a miss.Pls read through all my reply again and think abit it.If u think that my reply or comment are too subjective.I'LL REST MY CASE! There's no need to get so hostile.This forum is just a place to share our experience and try to help each other out instead of throwing the TS into more fear or so.

Something to relate

I thought i will relate this to something that is happening to a close friend.

Prince bought a 4rm flat from Mickey. Deal was done in a flash as Prince immediately likes the flat upon seeing this. Prince was delighted with the flat and spends money renovating it.

Few months later, which is a few weeks ago, Prince starts getting stares from his neighbours. Then he starts seeing his unit number at the lift. No no, it was not his name, but that of somebody else. Very soon, his door starts getting a fresh coat of paint almost every week...

Some of us good friends think Prince should have did his homework, making sure that all holes and corners are checked before sealing the deal...
Some of us good friends think Mickey is wrong, for not wanting to clarify or refuse to assist with Prince's queries.
The agent also refuse to help, his reason, this actually happens after months.

My version of conclusion, is that either Prince continue to live with this or Prince will have to start to look for a Buyer for the flat...and the saga will go on and on...

Who's fault, Prince, Mickey or the agent?
Everyone will have their own version...

Face value or not, I do not agree with you.

Even from the start of this thread, there are people supporting AND opposing TS.

Many of us did not jump into conclusion and wanted to know only the truth - whether the watch is real or fake. Perpetually reminding TS to authenticate it.

According to your post;
If you are indeed the seller, you seemed defensive.
If you are not the seller, the world is not what you think it is.

Bros pardon me for not answering to any of your qns if you're expecting an answer fom me like as thou Im on my pc 24/7. I also have my family commitments during weekends!! I've been very active logging in liao since I started this thread & boy Im shocked to see that it has rose to 7 pages within days lor... Anyway thanks for all the valued comments.

I'm not delaying for verifing the watch as I was really really busy past few days!! I also thought that the dealer would be professional enough to authenticiate it. If not how he buys & sells watch for the past decade right... At least I was not rash enough to make a police report but to seek advise here 1st.

Again having said that, I will definitely rush down to Wheelock tomorrow to verify the watch.
Oh 1 more thing, dany idea if they confiscate the watch if it's not genuine??

To those who has been waiting patiently for the results of my watch...

I went to Wheelock & Chris 'inspected' the watch. Verbally he said its authentic but can't produced any authentification letter to me as this watch was not sold in Singapore & this piece was produced very long time ago. But he took photos of the watch & will email to U-Boat HQ for final verification should I really want the certificate.
Can I take Chris words for that cos I ask him if he's very sure although he hasn't seen the U-Boat quartz model before.

is Wheelock the official service centre for U-Boat and Chris a certified U-Boat Technician? Asking cos not sure where U-Boat should get certified.

if it is then i think you already got confirmation from a U-Boat certified technician? If that cant convince you, then its like bringing my Rolex to RSC and still questioning when they say its authentic.

(If Chris is not a certified U-Boat Technician, I wonder if some bros may say he is in cahoots with the seller as per a few posts that seem to poke anyone that has a different view abt the seller )

Anyway, if you feel only certification from U-Boat themselves will make you feel better, then go ahead and get Chris to send the email. But not too sure how long they will take to respond.

Get him to ask the factory to verify since he don't seems 100% sure. I got a U-boat too and I never know Classico has a quartz version. (Yes, I came from the rural village, hehe...) That way you can be 100% sure and will not have any doubts and you can wear your watch with confidence. If it is fake, then you can decide the next step. This will also be fair to you and the seller.
