What do u think of this brand of phone?will u pay a 4-5 digits for this phone?

    Are you from EDMW!~!

Hahaha..currently I m contemplating on getting a Vertu Ascent Ti preowned. I will pay for phones..it has been my hobby since few years ago...I am currently using a 8800 Arte but I cannot tahan depreciation so I wil buy preowned.

At the moment...max I have spent on a phone is 1k+...but the jump from the 8800 line to the Vertu line..is a very big jump.

It's probably like asking you to jump from a 3k Rolex to a 30k Patek...but then again..you aren't comparing apples with apples. Just an example though.

Buying that would cost me probably another Rolex...but for the love and attaining the holy grail....it's gonna be personal preference. Thinking money wise..money is better spend on rolex. But if you love it...sometimes you will pay for it!

Poisoning from my Vertu buddy did help too

The main drawing point is the name and price tag....

So technically, there is no additional function?

Hmm.....guess talking to non-phone guys ( like me ), is like talking to people who also ask why pay so much for a watch that only tell time, when my Casio have alarm and many more function and cost just a fraction

yeah...just like why watch nuts will pay 30k for a watch when a $80 casio can do the job just as well or even better...

For vertu,u are paying for the craftmanship, brand name, exclusivity and so on.....buy what your heart desire as $$$ is only coloured papers if you dun use them...hahahaha

Afterall, you only live once...and $$$ isn't of any use if you are 6 feet under ground...

                      It's a very solid phone..very well made..like Rolex...

The only thing that attracts me is more of aesthetics than technology. I have been using designer phones for quite a few years already...never regretted it...and you totally love it when someone compliments your phone just like your watch!

My taste is slightly different from most people...I prefer to stay outta the crowd...just like when everyone bought the iPhone...I bought a Nokia 8800 Arte...!

Entry level is about 9k...that should be for the new flip phone..

vertu ascent ti is 10k for the basic model
