Paypal offers 2 options for payment of purchases in foreign currencies -

1) using paypal xchange rate and
2) using ur credit card issuing bank's rate.

I notice that the paypal rate is poorer and so it make sense to use option 2. However it does state that using option 2 might attract other service fee (in addition to the xchange rate of the bank).

Anyone comments from those who hv experience in using paypal?

I always use Paypal exchange rate cos diff is small unless you are buying big ticket item.
Paypal exchange is instantaneous. CC bank rates are not immediate and you mya be subjected to currency movement within the next 1-2 days.
