IR-Casino ! Will you join?

if thats the case, what use is it for s'pore to open up an IR? i sure wouldnt wanna pay $2k just to get in. Use the money go KL more shiok!

for me, I will join simply because of 1 very important factor...TIME, I used to spend the weekend there but now with family I can only go night's off during friday or saturday nights and since it is here and open 24hrs I can go down and play 3 to 4 hours and go home.

I'm sure the casino will come up with membership perks , afterall the sentosa IR is by Genting so the same free food,drinks and rebates will apply, if not better!

I hate the journey of going up the mountain or taking the ship at tanah merah, world trade and all dizzy by the time I hit the tables.

with the IR here , I can play on a weekly basis and still be back in my bed before anyone wakes up, something I can't do for genting or the ship.

I went genting and the ship for 6 months 4 years ago weekly, burnt out by the journey after 4 months.

The manager even come down personally to spore to invite us for dinner to a 5 star hotel at our own choice .
thats why i like their service , especially the custormer service manager in charge of spore.

2k a year is really not much is you enjoy gambling. imagine, you go to a boutique in orchard... one handbag or nice outfit also 2k gone already. some better spas also have packages which costs from few hundreds to thousands.

but i don't think i will join as it is not so much the membership or entrance fees but the main gambling activities that will burn you to the ground if you don't know how to control. i wonder what the table minimums and limits are.

With regards to Muslims from Malaysia coming to play... I don't think they will rush to Singapore to play just because they cannot get into Genting. The exchange rates arenot exactly to their advantage?

2k to a regular gambler is nothing, just imagine divide by 365 days is only abt $6 a day...(cheap to hard core gambler and aunties that reach home before dinner)

if am not wrong, rolling system might take place, if u roll 20 k cash chip and change to 22k non neg chips(ps: they give u 2k non neg chips= entrance fee waive and not paying a single cents and sometime they throw in a suite for u and 2 bottles of bird nest in ur bar fridge )


so is a win win situation for punter and casino

Hi bro , i'm no VVIP just a normal in-house gold member of genting ,
BTW the 2k voucher not once a year , but sometimes can be as much as 6 times a year depends on how often you go up there , some platinum card members get 30k voucher a few times per year , i got a frd who got 30k voucher few times a year , and that voucher is almost as good as cash if you wanna gamble , cos it can be cash out when you start to gamble with the non neg chip , once you win you cash out and run , if you wanna play safe bet 15k banker and 15k player , in that case you can 100% get 15k cash .
Anyway dun really like to gamble , but my kids love genting than any other place so try to bring them there once a year .
OH , BTW anyone knows if the 2k membership fees is refundable ?
