    sorry for hijack this thread… pardon for my poor knowledge on vintage sub…realize during the gathering tat a sub w/o the cyclops so actually what model is this?
    Current - Seiko,Rolex,Sinn,AP & RM
    Future - Geneva hallmark
    Past - TH Carrera CV2010, Pam 111, 16610, Pam 233, 116610LV

      Hi Dennis...it's a Submariner date...model 1680.

      I fitted it with a tropic 19 (non cyclops) plexi crystal...

      For that Mini Dweller look.

              Caeden, thanks for the info..just wonder now can I get my sub crystal change to non cyclops in RSC?? Just like another member who change his sub LV green bezel to black bezel…

                sapphire crystal or non sapphire?

                don't think RSC will change for you.

                fastest way for sapphire is to chisel the cyclops off as it is only glued onto the crystal. some risk taking required. after chisel off, as wifey for some nail polish removal to clean up the area.

                for acrylic, can file, sand and polish it off. takes some work.

                  but it will be better to pay some $$ and leave the job to a professional.if not ur submariner u DIY later become suckmariner.lol.

                    RSC won't do it for you....have to find other means.
