Was cleaning up my cabinet the other day, found some old jewellery that my late grandfather left behind...very interesting items, there are 2 very old gold rings...1 of them have the Rolex president bracelet design, another ring possibility you can't give it in any jewellery shop now....

It's painted on the gold and for so many years it remain intact,...forgotten to post the president bracelet design ring...i think both rings are more than 30 years or more.

        Cloisonne

Nice ring. The coloured part in the gold ring was probably "Cloisonne" which is enamel painted on metal and baked in a fire kiln to form a harder state which is long-wearing. Some of this art method is seen in Russian "Faberge" eggs, 18th century Qianlong vases and even watches (Patek Philippe limited editions).

“Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.”
Abraham Lincoln (American 16th US President from1861-65, who brought about the emancipation of slavery from 1809-1865).

“Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”
