Inauguration of the “Hublot Tower Clock” in front of the Old Trafford stadium in Manchester
In the presence of Sir Alex Ferguson and the Manchester United players, Jean-Claude Biver today unveiled the largest clock ever built by the company. It was specially created for the reigning English champions, and, at a height of 10 metres, designed to take pride of place in front of the legendary stadium.
The partnership between the Swiss watchmaking company and the English football club has been studded with worldwide events and original creations this month, thanks to a shared dynamism motivating both Hublot and the Red Devils. Today though, the action is taking place right on the doorstep of Old Trafford!
The clock is made up of a 10-metre tower in the shape of an H (the Hublot logo) which holds four two meter diameter clock faces set at the top of each side of the structure so they can be viewed from any angle.
The structure is in a position of honour, in front of the East stand of the stadium - the main gathering point for fans and television crews bringing the magic of OT to homes around the world.
The Hublot clock was inaugurated today amid an air of celebration. With respect and pride, Hublot is delighted to have been welcomed to the ground, for a long time to come and in a spirit of great friendship!
