Why do people wear fake watches?

Because the movement, material, quality, finishing, complications of the watch etc
do not matter to the wearer at all.

Wearers of fake watches only care about 2 things:
a) Is the brand good enough for me to pass off as rich?
b) Is the fake good enough for me to pass off as real?

I think it's perfectly normal for ppl to buy replica watches to wear for fun and if the feel is right, use tat as the right motivation to purchase a genuine one...

Besides, after wearing the fake and the real piece, I can tell the difference more easily...

And whenever I go BKK, will buy a replica panerai just to wear for fun and whenever ppl ask, I will openly admit it's not the real thing...

End of the day, it's the man who wear the watch, not the other way round... just enjoy the process... and most importantly don't sell a fake as the real one!
