  • i think Jerry is one of the many typical stories involving middle level management in Singapore...

his came to light because of the value of watches and perceived high society level involvement.

in reality this happens to supervisors/managers of other distributors/retailers say for example Sim Lim/Funan IT shops...

they are not at the lower strata of society but yet are at the fringe of everyday contact with high society...

when wants become needs...LVs for the gfs..wives...cars...Lexus...BMWs...go figure out how many 320i out there is owned by someone in dire straits trying to join the 'club'...some made it and go on to Maseratis...Lambos...Ferraris...some just don't and when they 'downgrade' to say a Honda Civic Type R...they feel lacking and shame :O and shy away...

why? cos many of them have also been very superficial when joining the 'club' without real substance in them...refusing to acknowledge their humble beginnings...thereby only skimming the surface of people they meet...cos they are afraid of people reaching their depths.

I have met and am good friends with some of these super cars drivers...they remember their humble beginnings...they do not attempt to erase their roots...

likely in countries where corruption is much more rampant(i'm not saying Singapore is not corrupt at all)

and accountability means nothing to officials/authorities and they can grab these 'evidences' for their own...

think in Singapore it be much more easier for the authorities to return the property say after the case instead of cracking their heads how to dispose of them since they cannot claim them for themselves...

      • In Singapore is an example of a worrying trends in this materialistic world. Noticed many young working adults indulge to live in a luxury lifestyle has seems to have gone beyong their financial capabilities. When tell tail sign show default in their bank loans, they turn to loansharks and other means for assistance.

We can understand why now there are so many harrassment cases surfacing recently.

It will be good if we can have a campaign to educate "start saving for retirement & raining days".

According to my friend who is a prison officer, Ah Hua denies killing the little gal just before his death sentence...normally a dying person will not lie.....

Allow me to try and contradict your statement :

" just before his death sentence...normally a dying person will not lie.. "

It is unbelievable that he knew he was to sentence to death. So did he actually say that before or after he KNEW of the verdict

" normally a dying person will not lie "

Are you very, very sure of that?!

Well no proof and case closed so all this is hear say....but for sure my friend was not kidding.

                    • Many would prob disagree to what i hv to say abt jerry:
in retrospect, so what even if he's caught and awaiting his fate?

he's definitely tasted the high life, driven the fast cars and prob had the hottest of babes for company just like chia teck leng of the APB case and victor tan of ACCS. all these pple have been there & done that.

whilst they are now paying for their crimes, how many pple could possibly have had the opportunity to experience the high life? some of us are just gg to live by the stinking rules, adhere to the ever-changing regulations and then wonder at the end on what BS we had achieved.

not trying to start a fire here but life seriously sucks esp in particular sectors. Peace OUT.
