erm..not all ex-convicts are employed in low paying jobs...
That is true.... I have a personal friend who is now a property agent... When the market bloomed last year.... he is making big bucks now...
I am not trying to say that all ex-convicts HAVE TO take up low paying jobs... just trying to say that they do have some chance out there no matter what..
Busting the myth that was mentioned : "even after his released who wanna employ him"
I had a friend who went to jail for 7 years , because of manslaughter , now he is travelling in a new BMW 7 series , staying in a Landed worth more than 2 million . Wearing a Rolex YG DD with full diamonds on dial lugs and bracelet .
Hear that after his release , he went on to work for his friend whom he met inside jail , and eventually comes out to start his own business with support from his inmate friend .
Now i think , i consider him as a sucessful businessman , happily married with 2 kids . With business in both spore malaysia and china.

I met this uncle at the hawker centre he told me his taxi vocational license was revoked after his released..i nvr asked him why he was put behind bars. (now he is the hawker centre cleaner) He told me no matter how many times he appealed with the MP letters they keep rejecting him..when he was telling me his eyes all red..abt the yellow ribbom it is to mostly low paying jobs, and factories in the prison.(hourly rate is 1.60...)
