ya loh... no need to change, if u need local gov housing, 1 sporean more thn enough, partner pr, still get benefit.

if u wnnna go the other side buy house or do biz, ownership much easier with yr spouse being a citizen there....

Should have let both my kids born in Mal. since my wife still a PR here. As a citizenship here shares almost equal benefits. Even when comes to schools registrations PRs have the equal chance too. So what so good being a Singaporean as i see not much benefit except that the extras duties you have to serve.

the priority is to S'porean thn only PRs for school registration...no equal chance...

i thk the SG government will gradually reduce the subsidy to PRs to ENCOURAGE them convert to citizen...hehehe
