    timing for 21Km

    I finished my 21KM 2hr 20 mins.....Dun really have a traget for 42km. Aim is to finish. But after 21Km i was flat.... Will continue to train....

      Not bad! I suppose you already use a tapering training program and are aiming to chalk up weekly mileages of 42km way at least by Oct to let your cardiovascular system build up its strength. If you start slow from the start and use it to warm up gradually to prevent muscle cramps (calf and quads) from surfacing, and keeping some reserve energy during the first half by alternating with walks for recovery, you should be able to complete in about 5 to 6 hours!
