which one to get leh?? simple simple watch... :)

am looking for those simple simple watches with clean, unclustered face...
eg explorer...

but with my budget of ~1.5k plus minus 200, i think can only get a new ball EM2 classic or a preowned omega railmaster... hmm... any others to recommend??

brand new with the new box smell... get to own a watch right from its 'start'
but... being the first owner, as well as the brand itself (no offence to ball watches owners), i'll be absorbing quite a heavy depreciation. even if i do not have the intention to sell it in the near future, errrrrrrrrrr i'll still be bugged by it somehow...

Railmaster (preowned)
maybe 2 to 4 years old RM, around $1.7k possible?? maybe 1.9k to play safe??
anyway, getting it preowned means the dep not so great...
but.... who knows what the 1st (few) owners did? summore dun have the new box smell...

Y not you look for Jean Richard (formerly Daniel Jean Richard)... i find their models nice... affordable also..

within my budget: omegas('quite' preowned), tags(overpriced for low end tags?), ball(only after their recent 'fierce' marketing efforts)...
