Ya I do know about the panel but when I compared the Samsung display, it did look alittle inferior to LGs... (no offence hor to any samsung tv owners)
may i suggest you look sharp. i find the saturation abit more even. i currently using LG, and regret it big time. given the money, id rather go for the bravia (sony) or sharp. tho another problem i feel, is that uneven backlight for lg models. if i not mistaken, they are using ccfl, just like all other LCDs out there (anyone wanna correct me?)Currently wearing:

I prefer Plasmas as I will get "dizzy" watching LCD TVs... I find that plasmas's color is more natural. On the other hand, there is a "shadow" if you watch one or two chanels very often. For mine, there is always a "MickeyMouse" shadow on my lower left corner of my TV...

jazz, frd say.. following choices.
1). mid 2+k for b650 ( which is new model ) .. free lcd 26" lcd promo
2). 3.2k for B6000 ( led ) free 32" lcd promo
3). promo, also 100hz, series start with A ( older model , not B, which is the latest model ). slightly less thn 1.9k. free lcd promo, dunno wht sz
he say, either go for led ( which is abt 700 more ex thn the b650.. but the led is slim, sharp and much lower wattage thn the lcd )
or
go for the cheapest ( which is A ) and hv abt the same features as the B, and save 700
