Hi, it is essentially the same as the eta 2824.

However i would prefer the eta 2824 as it's 'swiss made'. Had a Tag Heuer Calibre 5 with the SW movement and it totally suck. Timekeeping was so off compared to eta 2824.

      SW?

Why the bracket “Swiss made” for ETA? Are you implying the other movement (SW, which reminds me of concepto that got eat up by Biver if I recalled correctly) not Swiss made?

To me most mass produced ebauche not Swiss made, except rollies, AP, Jeager, Vaucher, roger and etc to name a few that can really claim Swiss made, the rest like ETA are most probably loosely assembled in Swiss with parts source all over the world in almost finished form... not to forget the definition of Swiss made by FHS...which is too generic previously and they trying to strengthen it with little improvement.

( Will infrequently surf this site. So apology fr any delayed respond, iceheller )
