  • Material of Hex screws of AP made of?

Heard or seen somewhere that the 8 pieces of a AP ROO is made of white gold and some said is stainless steel,

    Actually which is true?

    Thanks

Try chewing on the screws if the screws are dented then is gold. If you got broken teeths then is stainless steel.

Ok seriously. It is logical to assumed that they are white gold because gold is softer and would not damaged the s/steel case screw thread.

I thought it should be the other way round... that is, the material should be of harder/tougher content so that the screw thread would not get worn out easily?

        TS,

Any way to find out from the AP boutique?
