Buying Rolex will leave u with less money to anyhowly spend or invest. At least there's some retention in the value in the Rolex. That's one logic....

Dont think buying watch is a investment now,buying new rolex now cost about 10-15k for more popular model,example, 116710LN brand new pc cost 11kplus with little discount.After handover,will not be that price anymore or after 10years price depreciation according for current pricing by 30% or more.& also after 10year,value of notes could not be the same as the year too.
The only good thing of think,buying a good watch or luxury watch,IF,one day you think to sell,it will still get back some sum or to pass to next generation .<hope my kids know to admire my watch>
