Hmmm... Just a thought... Example we buy a $10k range rolex every year... Then maybe after 5 years, we have 5 rolex. On the 6th year, instead of getting another NORMAL $10k range rolex, we sell off 2or 3 rolex, then together with that 6th year's budget, get a maybe $25-30k range rolex. AT the end of it, we are only spending that $10k or maybe lesser. Is that alright? What u guys think?

i don't have a % or maybe i havent been counting, i mostly control my urge to get that dream watch and being responsible where in you have to set your priorities straight. However, if i set my goals on a certain watch, whether it's expensive or not, i will buy it. But I always take into consideration what matters most, whether you have spent too much on a watch rather than spending it to enjoy and bond with you family, is what i ask myself before splurging.
But now since i think about it, my wild guess is more or less 50% of annual income. i would probably save for a year and totally rid myself of any unnceseary spending, then after that 1 year of wait then i will buy. this may be unhealthy though.

So far for me, its abt 5 - 10%... But this year after selling a couple of my watches, the AP Diver I've gotten is still consider "free". Hahaha... not really free lah, but the sale of my watches cover its cost liao. So technically, I can still buy watch for this year. Yippy....
