just a thot, what if triton did buy the PO watch and upon paying then unwrapping the plastic at the cortina office, discovered the dent? what would be the probable remedies available to the buyer? seems to me that the seller did not make "full disclosure" to the extent of being dishonest that such a piece is placed on sale.
what say you, guys?

there is one with orange strap. price decent. i noticed a small dent @ the side of case near the 10/11 o'clock position. as it was wrapped in plastic, i request the SA to unwrap it for me for closer inspection. the SA told me, if u want me to unwrap then you have to buy. i was like WTF. unwrap means have to buy? anyway, i told him if got dent, i confirm wont buy. the same little dent was confirm by Hary as well.
i told SA, watch case got dent. he ask me to show him. then he feel and saw it. then Hary's SA who was beside him say cheap cheap sell you. i was like no thank you. with such service attitude, i wont bother going to cortina to get watch liao. i rather stick to THG and Sincere.
True, quite a number of the PO on display got dents, must check carefully, there are quite a few 42 and 45mm around to choose. SA is willing to unwrap the watch for inspection.
Speaking from personal experience, I'm never in favour of patronising Cortina, at least at both the Raffles and Paragon outlets. Lousy encounters I've had there.
I prefer THG (LP/Raffles/MW/Taka/Peninsula) and Sincere (Suntec/Taka).
I got my first Omega Speedmaster at Omega Lucky Plaza with very good service as the sales lady is my friend's friend.
My last trip to Cortina sale in Jan was an ok experience. The way the watches is being displayed is a little disappointing. Too cramp until like pasar malam. No indication of brands so you have look around to see what counter is having what watches. However, still got 2 pieces then due to good pricing. My wife's constellation was 45% off with additional 5% with SCB card.
THG sale last week was much better organize. Display areas are label with watch brands to make seeing much easier. Much more sales staff to attend to customers but prices was not as good. The same watch my wife got was only at 30% off at THG sale. But I got a good deal for my Glycine though.

I am surprise a big company like Cortina is selling watches with dents. Maybe that is why the ever so popular PO are on sale too.
