stock prices may not plunge cos accordingly, our gahmen had already made ample precautionary measures to ensure that the virus is well-contained once there is a confirmed case. then again, no one can be sure about this. the only thing that I am cocksure is Murphy's First Law: if things can screw up, it sure as hell would!

Why sad?? It is not even deadly... Anyone can catch a normal flu as well... we dont use the word sad lei....

take it easy.. it is said to be similar to a common flu..

fatality percentage is not that high BUT it is not a common flu, at least for now.

Our immune system have not tackled this new bug before. Hence, whoever gets it will always have a higher risk of not recovering (no matter how minimal) as we have no idea how it may react.

Sometimes, if our body reacted with too strong a reaction, it might end up damaging ourselves instead (white blood cells too many, etc).

I am not trying to be heartless or anything like that.

Just stating facts. According to some reports, a typical seasonal flu kills 35,000 people just in the U.S.A. Therefore, some official has pointed out that H1N1 virus is probably no more dangerous than a common flu.

I personally think that people are over-reacting to a certain extend
