Meaning of "Kopi on me"
Hi all,
As we know, this forum is very useful for sharing information, esp for newbie like me... most of the time, SG-ROC members mentioned "kopi on me" after someone help them/whatever other reasons...
Once i was looking at past thread and one member posted "if u could fine $xxx of SD/Sub, $100 kopi money from me"...
now i'm wondering the meaning of this phrase, whether it is:
1. "once i got the deal, i'll buy you coffee and muffin at Starbucks to celebrate"
--> real meaning
2. "once i got the deal, i'll give u commission money of $100 for ur information"
--> hidden meaning
haha, u might think this qn a bit ridiculous but better clear the air to avoid misunderstanding
or another meaning:
3. "Let's go to nearest kopitiam and drink 80cents kopi (on me) while watching Champions League", hahaha...
