different people wear different shapes and sizes of watches.

i for one cannot wear half gold, full gold watches. only can wear round shaped watches. also cannot wear anything smaller than 38mm watches.

knowing wolfeyes. his watch philosophy is own one of every brand, each watch is unique in its own way and usually its entry level watch would suffice. aquanaut and nautilus can be considered entry level. i dare not breach the 20k mark to buy a watch. this i will discuss it in another thread.

im not sure if lange1 and datograph would cost more than a patek. both are leading brands but im more tilted to german. but as patek slogan is " you never really own a patek, you are merely looking after for the next generation.

as in rolex collector, the holy grail is daytona. in watch collection, it is never complete without a patek.

bro, i would recommend the lange 1/datograph..bearing in mind that you have an enormous budget..at leasts there's an immaculate presense to behold..the intrinsic beauty of the dial is absolutely breathtaking...

with all due respect, i must say that those 2 pp doesn't look very nice...

sorry bro because i really feel that if you were to spent 20k of your money $$, the watch should look like its worth 20k, inside and outside..

yes. i agree with your comment that 20k spent on watch, u want it to look good on inside and outside.

however we need to understand that some people like certain shape, certain brand, certain functions. that is why watch brands come out with different design different functions to suit different people's taste.

in all fairness, a patek finishing is excellent. if you are going to compare the finishing of sinn vs GO, u can see the difference. as the saying goes, u pay peanuts, u get peanuts.

if i got 20k to spend between patek and GO, i would go for patek. im not sure if there are any 20k lange watch available.
