i've met some buddies over coffee this evening and now i'm opening up to the members here for comments.

PP Aquanaut Jumbo on rubber strap (5167A) Vs PP Nautilus Jumbo (5711) on SS bracelet.

List price: $25,700 vs $33,700

which one will you get?

hey bro... me not qualified to comment on the watch movements, the worth and etc... but maybe an opinion of the look of watch...

Personally, i loved the dial of the 5167A.... as for the 5711... me never really taken a fancy of dial (is it blue... not too sure.....)... so given a choice.. that is out... however, ever considered the 5711G - White gold with leather strap... look very sharp... the dial..is it greyish tone... but hell nice...of course.. the price also hell nice for the AD....

Another thing.. the 5167A... it's 40 x 40mm.... but the 5711.. it's listed as 43 x 38mm... so essentially, it's a 38mm.... not sure if the size is of any concern to you.... but maybe you might want to consider this factor when deciding..... for me, I love the clean-cut look of the 5167A's case... 40 x 40mm... 5711... looks weird with the what I call... "watch ears" (no offence to any 5711 owners...)...

Anyone, both these watches are way out of my league....will only appear on my wrist in my dream... but look forward to your wrist shots...

Me also looking at this 2 few weeks ago , decided on the 5167A ,reason is because , i usually buy those entry level , but popular model , easier to sell if i wanna flip in future , both are beauty in its own class , 5167 more sporty while the 5711 is more on the elegance side .
Just bought the 5167 not long ago , love the watch , it has been the most comfortable watch on my wrist so far .
Also love the dial , its like 2 tone dial , brown in the afternoon and black at night .
Now looking at some leather straps to go with it .

also looking @ your overall collection, nautilus would be a better choice for you. reason is color of dial and cleaner look.

Yeah I was looking at these 2 when I was at Cortina with Uncle Hary the last time...it's a very very tough choice I must say.

Sporty vs Classy...

I love the classy uncle look of the Nautilus but the Jumbo fits my age...

I would get both. But first I will get the Nautilus. This will come after I finish my Rolex collection. Hopefully by 21?

bro, i would recommend the lange 1/datograph..bearing in mind that you have an enormous budget..at leasts there's an immaculate presense to behold..the intrinsic beauty of the dial is absolutely breathtaking...

with all due respect, i must say that those 2 pp doesn't look very nice...
