Singapore has V-series SD?
That is unusual ... rolex discontinued the SD sometime back ... then stories of V-series SDs seen in the US and HK began to surface... then now 6+ months later they surface in Singapore at the ADs...
There is more to it than meets the eye bros. Does anyone know the serial nos of these V-series pieces? If they are similar serial numbers to the currently available V-series subs (and, if these SDs have engraved chapter rings?) ..
I think rolex is still producting them quietly, either from leftover part-stocks ... or have quietly re-started production.

Doubt rolex would do that and risk their reputation doing that as wat u mentioned, its easy to deduce the production run based on the serial
But then again. Two qns pop up in my mind with regard to ur claims
1) Was there an official annoncement that 6+ mths ago rolex stopped SD or is it mere speculation agn?
2) Asummng rolex stopped at V series. How do we knw tha before stopping they did not produce a while lot of SDs once and for all? Doesnt make sense to me to produce like 100 SDs for v series n stop.
Hence unless it crosses over to the new alphabet. I think its mere speculation that v series for SD has small quantities. Might be mainly claims by individuals to boost the price of V series SDS
Btw saw a few v series (or claimed by poster to b v-series online). Doesnt have the chapter ring. But then again. Doesnt prove anythig. And ADs are known to stash supplies and show it to a few selected customers only. Same thing as per the LVs when they just came out. (which explains why i never get to see them lol )

I don't think Rolex officially announced that the SD was discontinued.
It was speculation and assumption by people that since Rolex made the DSSD from V onwards, this will replace the SD. Also, to drive up the price of M series SD as the 'last' and collectible ones.
Rolex could very well be producing SD together with DSSD way into the future.

When V appeared, those who bought into this idea were burnt.
