you hang around the back or front of the lec theatre. personally i cannot stand the front, so im at the back and unlike uncle PET im actually looking at the slides

200 people nothing, you should see over at Curtin, we have easily 3x that amount in the first week and then tapers off after a while

actually i sit in front once in accounting (repeated unit) with my friend, she also failed and repeat with me. needless to say, both passed with distinctions but a dark secret still lies, i never study

But I think sit in front and at the back not much diff as u can still hear the lecturer...only thing is sit at the back more distractions

that is the problem. the distractions too much wait you cannot take proper notes. or worse still sleep in lec. ive done that so many times not funny. because during uni days (still at uni). i pull allnighters (no sleep)

Poly probably not that bad.
In uni especailly if hostelites after lunch usually have urge to skip lecture and go back to your room and sleep.
Think I didn't attend at least half of my lectures in uni days.
