What's your reaction when someone "head on collission" with your beloved watch?

once a woman carry many shopping bags, and crash into my watch. i could hear the cracking sound, at once look at the glass, and phew almost a fine scratch.

You can't do much. It happened to me once, got a scratch on my watch as a lady bumped into me with her bag in the MRT/Cityhall. I pointed it out to the lady but the lady ask me if I can prove that she caused that scratch. She even denied it! Ruined my whole week..

wear a wrist protector over the watch when out and about... ideally, something made of adamantium...

Either not wearing any watch when taking MRT or wearing a titanium with watch with sapphire glass.

most often I bump into wall desk etc. then i sim tia. But I think eventually watches must have some scratches soon or later, so might as well earn some tiny scratches asap. so I still wear my favourite mid size white gold rolly on weekends cos I can only afford tiny scratches but not big ones.
