hi,

way off topic here, but anyone has a good private driving instructor in singapore (central area) to recommend? I'm sourcing on behalf of a friend.. i learnt mine at the centre so don't really know any private ones.

i asked for my wife i think 5 years ago... she has not driven in a long time (foreign license obtained with LHD car) and wanted a refresher before buying a RHD car in singapore.

i went to yio chu kang mrt station 10 minutes before the hour, in the afternoon, and waited for the private instructors to drop off their learner drivers at the station.

while the instructors were waiting for the next student, i went up to them to ask for name cards. i think i got 3 name cards.

you can perhaps try the same thing at mrt stations near driving centres also... i also see a gold vios L plate car with learner drivers at Queenstown mrt regularly when i pick my wife up.

you'll never know which instructor is a good fit without at least some face to face interaction with him/her.
