I made a comment "shallow" on peeceebee's post cos he said something like pple dun buy watches for their accuracy anemore.

Then I kena "rained blows" by several twistlounge members; many I cunt really remember except oni one hary. Very harsh .

I m ok wif peeceebee's response n apologize to him or her but still got kicked out. I recollect sme others joined in r wolfeyes, darthskip, 116520... .

So I c they r oso here, felt intimidated . Got oso tis limth who hd PM me to go out with them or give him my contact no. I was nt comfy wif it. He created a thread say some pple in twistlounge wanted to stir **** cos jealousy or smething.

Rolexforum can oso band me since I irked pple oso in cyberspace.

        So long ....
hmm..let me share my thoughts. Actually, I intend to leave this thread as it is and to let it die a natural death because everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Besides, i feel it's not appropriate to pass such comments in SG Horology. But well, perhaps i can clear the air a bit (personally, i hate to talk about the past and prefers to move on). Now this long email.

Members play a vital part in every forum. While we encourage frankness and positive contributions (even if they're differing views), we must also use our words arefully. You mighty be joking using "coconut head" on bro Louie in one of the thread here (i've not even met him before) but he might feel otherwise. To some people, this is uncalled for while others just brushed it away. Similarly, you'll feel upset too if we're insensitive to your situation and use inappropriate/hurtful words on you. Perhaps this is an example to share with you that we can all be tactful when there's a differing view? I hope you take this positively.

What happened in WF was similar. Yes "shallow" was the exact word used on PCB's remarks and there's another incident whereby you ultra-bold a phrase of the watch description, asking a member to read carefully when she asked if the cartier watch is a mechanical or manual winding watch. Perhaps a simple yes will suffice?

I beg to differ that some of us (DK and 116520) joined in to make hurtful remarks to you after that. The threads are still there in WF for anyone who's even interested to read them (it's an open forum). You must be mistaken but no big deal. no worries.

to each his own if he/she feels that some of us are unfriendly. perhaps i can refresh your memory that we offered assistance when you wanted a reference check on Bro OceanKlassik and the 2 watches he's selling (a rolex datejust being one of teh watches)? both Limth and i offered our help (Lim advised you on the prices while i vouched for bro OK's credibility)? Or perhaps when you declined our invitation and we cheered you up by asking you to keep your spirits high via pm? i'm confident that our actions, contributions, passions and words in both forums speak for themselves (i've not even met many members here..a handful maybe yes..and there's no need to name names)

Our gatherings are open to anyone in the forum (even here) and we respect your decision if you want or don't want to join us. To have more friends might help you a bit in your current situation, kill some time maybe but it's just my assumption (i'm sure you've your own way to heal your wounds). In no ways, we'll ostracize a person just because he/she declined our invitations.

The past is the past, i speak for myself that i still welcome you (in open arms..hahahaa) to any of our gatherings. let the bygones be bygones.

let's lighten up a bit and enjoy the foums without passing any hurtful remarks (intentional/unintentional). It's not necessary and there's no purpose to it (life's already hard and harder for many other people).

        cheers

as what ohlins mentioned, expression of opinions is allowed, going after TS is another.

                      Hi James,

Kudos to you for taking time out to address this issue. I only just realise you are a mod there. Along with a couple of the dudes who have regular meet ups at mr Bean previously on weekends. (if i recall correctly)

Since you've come out to try to make things right, and acknowledge that this entire episode is that of a misunderstanding, I think WL moderators should rightfully make things right again by unbanning Triumph. Of course, this is solely my own opinion and its up to WL moderators discretion to make that final decision.

You do know I regard you as a bro so I will put in my 2cents worth of frank comments. From a neutral perspective, its apparent that there are many remarks made in this thread before your reply are really uncalled for... its evident that there is a gang (pardon my choice of a better word) attack to defend a brotherhood (nothing wrong to that but due to the nature of this issue, its rather sensitive to credit one and discredit another). I am merely calling a spade a spade. There is no need to take sides but rather allow the involved parties to clarify the matter, or at best just help to ease the matter. I think no one here would like to witness a cyber bully (again pardon my choice of a better word) take place in this friendly and warm forum.

I would appeal to all to take a step back and digest the situation and put yrself in the TS shoes. Be it deliberate or a mere remark, I believe all (TS and those who TS mentioned that were harsh to TS at WL forum) DO NOT HAVE ANY MALICE. Again, words in cyberspace really can be misleading. Sorry to be lorsor, I recall during marriage encounter class I attended before my wedding (Catholics have to attend that before getting married in a church), something that I learn there is deeply rooted in me, that is : "Always be mindful of what you say as its the one who is at the receiving end of the remark that matters. The person making the remark MAY NOT have any intention to hurt but if the person who receives it feels it is hurtful, then it is." I would appeal to all when making a comment or a remark in real life OR cyberspace, please bear this in mind since what you say affects others.

Hope that this issue concludes amicabily and all misunderstandings are cleared.
