    Woah..

    I was contemplating if I should and haven't updated to the new IOS. Tx for sharing. Shall wait and see

                Oops, I already updated few days ago. So far no problem.

                  if you update via iTunes is ok, but if update on the device itself, there may be issues.

                  not sure.

                      Yes, I updated it on iTunes. So far no problem. I heard IOS 8.0.2 is out, don't know whether it has issue or not?

                        Updated with 8.0.2 and so far no problem or maybe I should say I've yet to detect any problem.

                            Updated to 8.0.2 on a ip6, whatsapp crashed the first time opening it after the update but no issues after that. Also, phone turned off automatically while on airplane mode while I was charging it overnight. Has not happened again but I'm turning on another phone for my alarms in case the phone turns off again and my alarm doesn't sound off.

                              Updated 8.0.2 for my iPad...no serious issues noted...

                              Seems like for Apple Updates, always prudent to wait for a week or so after the bugs undetected during testing to be irioned out first..
