              • Would love to get one apple watch! It's a new and innovative product but I believe it will not replace traditional watches anytime soon. They are different.

                • Overpriced watch.. what makes it attractive or one bit tempting was the software (at first).. now.. most smart watches can do the same for 1/16 the price (OK la I exaggerated.. maybe 1/8)

                      • I bought one and sold it away.
My reason for buying was to monitor my heart beat.
But after awhile, you'll know what is your approximate heart beat rate without the device.
                        That's why i ditch it.

                          • once bitten, twice shy

i was one of them that hopped on the bandwagon then they launched the apple watch and got my friend to order it from US since SG had a later launch date.. awesome thing was i ordered 2 and the watches were somehow delayed in transition so my friend called apple and complained so they sent another 2 overnight on express delivery. so guess what... ended up with 4 at the price of 2! lol..

so back to the title.. i've bought it once and will never buy it again for a few reasons..
                            1) my apple watch bricked on me within warranty which was eventually replaced but it taught me that mechanical is best.

                            2) the battery life makes it a terrible traveling watch unless you want to bring along the VERY long cable just for it.

                            3) initially i loved the function where it could record your runs and provide you the stats such as pace, hr, distance, etc. especially without having to wear a HRM belt across your chest.. BUT soon i realise that the battery drains extra fast when you are doing so. now i think its better going with suunto or garmin..

                            4) more is less and less is more! the apple watch boasts a new way of connecting with friends with the watch such as the draw and haptic taps but soon you realise that that's all novelty and it sure wears off fast!

thats about it.. fellow apple watch fanatics, the above's just my personal take so please have mercy! lol

                            • Have tried the apple watch during launch and gave up after 3months of using it and its more of a fitness tracker now than a watch to me. Personally I feel that there are uses for it such as being a very potent notification system and as a fitness tracker, especially since the price has gone down a lot since launch. Its always worth a try and way better than those crowdfunded quartz run of the mill watches like D*W

                              • Don't think so. As i feel that there are a lot of brands that can serve almost the same function that comes with a much lower price.
