Would you buy the Apple Watch?

Nope.. I don't even think it looks nice from the photos, maybe when it comes out I'll be wrong but I don't get the hype so far..

No battery operated watches for me. Unless they come out with their own movements.

Just read an article that FC/Alpina are coming out with a mechanical watch that has battery power sensor inside, the sensor send data to smartphone to display the collected data(eg sleep pattern, motion and etc). Following the "SMART" step of Mont Blanc, wondering whose the next to announce their "SMART"watch.

Too bad apple watch does not come with gps device...dun really wish to jog with the phone.

Easily done but will heat up your wrist and only work for 30 minutes

This apple watch 0 ATM water proof?

Don't buy, it will end up stay most its time on magnetic charger.

I have decided I am going to buy one when the debut, I doubt it will replace my rolex but it will be a fun sports watch - not sure if anyone would ever buy the gold version tho

The general consensus seems to be no in other watch forums but I'm curious what do you guys think about the Apple Watch?

Nope..will not buy..still like the mechanics of watches rather than digital.

Actually yee. Apple did a rather good advertising job this time, many of my friends and colleagues are eyeing it. But they are not watch collectors, mostly techies...
