I'll stick to a Casio if I need a digital watch, until battery life in a smart watch can last more than 1 month

Having used a smart watch for a few weeks recently (not Apple), I would think most traditional watch enthusiasts are not the target customers. They are like two different worlds apart.
Other than the regular charging, the smart watch works surprisingly well for a relatively new product. I can see it being useful for situations when you cannot check your phone and you have to monitor important calls or messages.

The other functions of the smart watch, although good to have, are limited due to the difficult interface.
I still prefer the beauty of mechanical movements in the traditional watch. After all, isn't that why we are all into this hobby in the first place?

Smart watch are nice like the samsung one but not sure how long it last... Maybe outdated within 3years and then no support for the software (kinda like Hp). If really to monitor health and some other alert function. I would rather buy something like Mont Blanc i-strap. Maybe cost a bit more than smart watch but still can wear my mechanical watches.sigpic

Either the Mont Blanc i-strap or a Razer Nabu, worn alongside our traditional time pieces would be nice.
The device must be really low cost because I don't see the hardware and software can be supported as long as a traditional watch. No way.
