Bros, help me decide if today is a good-bad day or bad-bad FML/Homer Simpson type of day:

Today, I tiredly drove to the public car-park, tore the coupons, threw out some old coupons on the way as I rushed off to work.

Walking back to the car-park after work, I didn't look while entering the car-park and a lorry just whizzed in narrowly missing me. If I was a second faster in walking it would likely have hit me.

I probably wouldn't have died but it would be like getting hit with a Brock Lesnar F-5 on tarmac.

Anyway, finally got to the car and saw a parking fine of $30 for no parking coupons displayed!

Astonished, looked at my dashboard and true enough, there were no coupons there.

I had stupidly mixed today's coupons with the old ones and threw them all away.

Do I need rest or a cold beer?

Oh, obligatory moral of the story: Display your parking coupons!

Haha, thanks Bro Jackjack, after a good nap, I feel less upset with my absent mindedness and more thankful that I didn't get knock by lorry. Now its time for a beer... : )

considering you're still able to enjoy a cold one (as opposed to lying in a ward), and we have all "cheated" HDB/URA coupon parking way more than $30 (5-10 minutes "extra" at both ends of the coupon)...

It was a good day today. Haven't gotten the cold beer yet but at least managed to catch Guardians of the Galaxy to de-stress. Quite a good, happy pop-corn movie!
