If the gold comes off, the next place you should go is Rolex center for verification.

Normally gold would pickup more dents as they are softer then stainless steel. An experienced polisher should be able to handle it. But just make sure after polishing, the gold is still gold.

I absolutely agree. Sports watches are meant to be worn and look ruggard.

But if polishing is absolutely necessary, I send my pieces to Bronze Age in Hong Lim. Their charges starts from $80 depending on how complicated the polishing is. I hope this reccomendation helps.

I agree! Each bump on the watch is a (hopefully interesting) story.

That said, being shiny's not too shabby either!

For minor scratches, u can trt removing it by using those 3 tone nail polishing file to remove it i've tried it on my seamaster and it works... i only rubbed the surface for a while and the scratch mark was significantly reduced.

I brought my wife's watch to ChuanWatch for polish at $100. The whole watch looks brand new now hahaha...

I used those"nano technology" scratch removal polish for cars to polish off scratches on watches. Just a tiny bit with a cloth does wonders.

However, those with Matt finish need to note that after polishing will become polished surface.

Buy from ebay a cape cod and do yourself. Wash with warm soap and water. Brush with a soft cotton brush. Works fine for me all the time.
