This was a longtime ago so not too sure if it's still the same. But during my NS days in the mid 90s, my NSmate had the same issue, he just kept getting fined, on an average of twice a week(50 bucks per time). He had enough money to go around so he didn't bother.

I've seen a picture of them using this machine...scanner like to do it...it will check how much percentage of light can go through

In that case, go to the inspection centre and get a paper proofing that the darkness is ok, write to TP HQ quotating your sumon reference, they will cancel the sumon...

Yes, bro, usually the inspection centre will use a machine to stick to your glass, and will measure the amount of light going through. A reading will come up and then it determines whether it is a PASS or a FINE :P

Does anyone know what comes after 1st time kana fine for having tinted glass for car ? TP says that I have 1 week to tear down the tinted sheet, but what if I ignore and should I be caught up again ?

Any one has kana before? I would like to know what comes next. Cos 1st time kana was $50.00. sigh ...

Yup yup, this is the answer i was looking for. so it means no matter how many times you are caught it is just a $50 ?

BTW mine is a stock car, no mods done yet. But i suppose this TP went around using GOVERNMENT motor to buy PRATA / MEE REBUS so they have to cover back the petrol by summoning we.
