    most ppl before 30 will change job every 1-2 yrs so contract or perm not much diff really

      My first 2 jobs are contract... i find got pros and cons. But being my first two experience, i was given extension after my contract ends, and pay is increased. My current job is perm.

        Nothing wrong with trying out contract jobs for a start. Just my 2 cents worth.

            With more graduates than jobs, unless you have a specialized degree, u have to prove yourself in a contract iob before u can be assured of a perm(stability) job. That's just the reality today; competition

              Really depends on the industry you are in.

              The one I am in, use mostly daily rated contractors and it make sense too for both employee and employer. Mobilise when required and demob on end of project. The daily rate guys gets at least 30% more.
