I am saying that grey market sellers or re-sellers are selling fakes, but it is because of existence of such fake, maybe better to buy from AD.
Yes, difference is sometimes more than a thousand, there is peace of mind when dealing with AD.

IMHO, fake/replica is using the original brand name and fitting other stuffs inside.
Homage is copying the original design but with a different brand name.
I rather buy homage than fake.
