Anybody owns a property in Thailand? Think of getting one unit (one bedrm) to prepare myself for retirement and also a contingency incase I kena tio kick out of the hse.

Personally I find having a unit in Thailand is much ideal than Msia.

Err... Why only looking at Thailand? In case u kena kick out of the house easier to find a replacement there? no Vietnam or Philippines or Indonesia?

Quite tricky. Iirc, there's restrictions on the lease of the property (30 years I believe) & foreigners can't buy landed property either. Unless set up a local company and purchase through that but that's another hassle.

It is a good starter article but you have to do more research.

Since you are thinking of possibly retiring there, do note that Thailand is starting to clamp down on visa-runs.

For my properties there, I took the easy way out, I married a Thai. Hahaha!

Yalor, must really plan liow. Dun think I can live decently here for my remaining years with my limited fund, but i do believe my limited fund can chow chow retired like a human being there.

I just need a nice plc to die. U see ah, when I old liow, I oso no teeths to bite shark fin or
abalone liow. And stomach oso take soild foods - can only jia porridge with sweet potato. Run cost sibei low wan
