Y would ppl afraid to send in to RSC? If they can't handle ur precious watches well, who can?
anyway for authentication that's the only choice unless u know any grey shop owners whom can help to verify.

For a piece of mind If purchase from grey seller to get it authentic. Alternatively get from 2nd hand shop is relatively safe I would say.

depending on one's comfort level as to which gray dealer one will want to approach.

i would prefer to go to gray dealers that has a shop front as the shop generally are likely to attempt to resolve any issues that arises compared to gray dealers without any shop front. the disadvantage is that prices for gray dealers with shop front is higher than those gray dealer without.
