Also if he refuse any claims by u there's really nothing u can do. Just treat it as a learning lesson for next time though the fee might be expensive...

U r right bro. He can change another user id just to scam others. I will decide should I post his number too.

Yes, I did check but how do you tell that the watch power reserve is working and the water proof seal is tight? Now I had to pay another $600 just to doing the servicing, stem and water proofing.

I will sort out this issue with this fellow and if not settled correctly, I will post his number here.

I'm not keeping his nick for negotiation. If u browse thru the first page, u will see the link of the sale. I didn't decline.

I'm not threatening the seller to pay for any servicing fees. I just want to seek some advise here.

I felt sorry for you bro...

Try discussing to split the repair bill with the seller...I think it's a fair settlement for issue like this...both parties plays a part...

Hope the best will turn out for you...

                Cheers.

so if the seller fixed the winding mechanism and waterproofing, you will be satisfied with the deal? if you won't, then you might want to sound out to the other party how you would like the situation remedied.

who determined you needed a new stem? $600 is quite a hefty sum to sort those simple problems out.

are you going back to panerai for a full service? (i've not bought a pam in a long long long time and never used their service centre so i don't know what the cost is)

Curious. How you managed to get his photo ? Is he aware of his photo been taken ? Or you have the habit of taking photo of seller whenever you deal ?

                                Bro Zhipeng,
Like what bro Taxico mentioned, $600 is quite a hefty amount. Maybe another place can quote you a better price for servicing. Still, even if you paid $600 for servicing, it is still a rather reasonable price for a Pam112 at a total of $5200, assuming that you paid $4600 for it.
