Let's put two point of views..
Rude sellers, how rude can that sellers be, are you buying the set or seller.
Pleasant sellers, how pleasant can that sellers be, are you going to stay a night with that seller.

If I going to get myself life insurance Pleasant agent is necessary for follow up.
If I going for 2 days stay at any resorts for holidays pleasant services worth my memory.
If I going for my lunch at the same place everydays pleasant food services is a good break.

If I wow rich and famous, I buying goods and services. Used not for me, willing to pay for premium price, just for pleasant services. For one single timepiece, in the same time I paying for my pride..

If I not rich that I am not but willing to get one luxury timepieces but I carefully searching for best values. Oops look at that Rolex DSSD full set like new year 2013 dec selling at $10300K. seller or dealer, talk on the phone damn rude, go for view also damn rude. something like, how bro like or not if not don't waste my time lah, if like let me know how how, if you don't like nevermind many ppl want to buy.

Put it this way, you can get at 11K with pleasant services, fine sound good why not, how long that pleasant services last you. You text the seller next day just for chatting, and next day and next day and next week and next weeks, you thing that pleasant services last, try lah, the only last you is the 11K DSSD, nothing more nothing less.

Don't let rude seller earn your money, DSSD 10300K like new 2013 dec set. Buaya on standby lol, buaya repost next day with pleasant services at 11K. Who me ohh I willing to drop humble for 10300K, in the end of the day I got to see the watch everydays not the rude seller or dealer..

Like I said (please vote wisely)
you never know next day rude seller or dealer posting Rolex president 18K White Gold Day Date diamond Dial full set at 13K. How bro, haha nee how mah..

Clocking has a point, but only to the extent that one 'takes the bait' and enters into a deal only to see 'fresh' pieces at lower price. But that happens everyday, and as they say in Chinese - 没有后悔药.

To me the experience of purchasing a watch, be it from a dealer, AD or an individual, is as important (but not the sole criterion) as the experience (I call it 'fun') in hunting for a watch. It involves 'extensive' research and constant vacillation over the model that I want. It may take me some time to 'muscle' enough courage to make the move - the adrenalin takes over after that.

And that is why a pleasant seller makes the experience more worthwhile.

When I buy a watch, I am interested only the watch. Not the dealer.
I don`t mind the dealer are very very rude to me if they can give me a very very very low price.
Because I am going to bring the watch home, not the dealer.

Yes me too, I not give money to kuailan seller. This reviews about rude & pleasant (dealer seller) in the sametime lower or higher price. Sometimes we need a little bit intelligent. kuailan is someone character you can never change a person & not easy to deal with, Rude is someone attitude angry in the sametime selling watches, if you make it easy to deal, the rude might turn friendly. Sometime (dealer seller) already post best price he willing to lost to make quick sales but buyers playing around, that is why once in awhile we can see seller sound rude but the price totally stand value. So do we think we give our money to rude seller, I don't think so because we get it the watch at stand value, that's what we always want right.

Whether the dealer is rude, it will not affect the watch that u are purchasing from him. If the dealer is selling 1k, you coded him 500 then obviously is your fault. Dealer is also human and they need to earn for a living.

If you feel like paying more for a quality service, Deal in a Ritz Carlton VVIP room and enjoy the service.

I would buy the cheaper option...unless I'm very rich, not going to keep in touch with him anyway

I would pay slightly more to the pleasant dealer, one is because of the positive experience with him/her. The other is to promote and encourage for quality service.

In this line of a dealer/AD is considered service sector, regardless if the client is buying or not, the standard of service should not drop. Why be in the service sector if you do not wish to provide good service in the first place? For the commission of done deals?? The experienced SAs or Dealers would be aware that customer always returns to those that leave them a pleasant/lasting impression.

To sum up my view/theory, if this dealer is pleasant to me, his reward would be business from me.

I fully acknowledge and agree with RevoIVL posting! Sometimes, whether the services staffs from dealers or AD, they are all humans and they have moods too!
If they happened in the morning when they start to work with good moods then you are lucky to be serve well with happy faces. However, when they are in bad moods or shapes then you came in the wrong date, time and place. You will eventually be served badly or with long faces too
Nevertheless, when we walk into their places, always be polite or say "Hello" or "How's your day", they will also greet you with smiles too, for sure, my 3 cents info

Therefore, different perspective. What is rude to you may not be rude to me.
My definition of rude in this case is kuailan attitude.
Boils down to not just the watch but the fact that we dont like to give money to people who give us attitude.
Watch can always buy another, no big deal. Whole world only he has? Chey, i dont buy loh, big deal ah?
                            Thats our take.

No right or wrong, its your take

                            Thanks for your explanation

In fact if dealer is rude or kuailan to me, i wouldnt even get to confirming the price, i would have already left. People dont welcome me, why do i need to give my hard earn money to him?

                              Watch cheap, i not cheap.
No offence please, my take only.

to me, it depends on how "rude" the dealer is. actually, this goes for everything in life, not only watches. if he's just a little rude, or rather prideful, then i could close one eye.

but if the dealer is absolutely obnoxious, then i guess as with everyone else, i wont even have the mood to purchase anything already - my mind will be clogged with anger!
