  • Which Rolex to get next?

I need to seek fellow forumers' opinions..

My wife and me have 3 kids and we wanted to give them something when we pass on.. Hey why not a Rolex and that was decided then. I have since got a Submariner for my eldest boy and an Explorer II for my youngest boy. Now I have problem looking for something for my middle daughter...

I am bounded by the following 'rules':
    1) the cost of the watch for my daughter has to be between the cost of the submariner and the explorer II.
    2) Brand new M series preferred since both Sub and Exp II are brand new M series...
    3) Has to be small size as my wife will be wearing it (idea is to hand down remember?)
    4) Preferably from the professional series..

Currently looking at Exp I but it doesn't come with date and that don't work for me.. (although I must say that it is a very nice watch and i am very tempted to get a preowned one for myself sometime in the future) Brand new, it is also cheaper than Exp II but this is a small matter as I can always give my daughter the Exp II and my last son the Exp I (but the Exp II will be too big for my daughter is she is to follow my wife's wrist size)

So what options are there for me???

SS ladies datejust? Doesn't have to be sports model right?

budget below 8k...cause the sub was bought at sub 8k....

yatchmaster was not considered earlier cause it look so much like a tag heuer.. but now that u mentioned it... but at sub 8k for brand new M series? hhmmm

wrt to the mop datejust, i actually wanted to see how it looks like first.. but the AD don't have... when it comes to mop, i think it is best to see then buy cause if order first, mop design might not be to my liking

why is ladies datejust considered too small?

another consideration is the GMT IIc, but it will be too big i guess. personally i think ladies DJ is most ideal for ladies.

Aiya.... so many restrictions... price make be llike that ike that, ladies datejust too small, must be professional, must got date.... Rolex where got so many models for you to choose from??

My suggestion is that since you already got the ExpII and Sub (I assumed with date one)... why not get another ExpII (diff color dial) for your daughter... good?
