    I'm with you on this.

If this lobang is not for you then just pass it up. I do think spending money one hasn't earned on luxury items is bad, but people who choose to do that are not dump so let's respect their choice.

To many, cars are also luxuries but how many of us pay in full?

        if yes, then congrats...
I'm debtless... But this seems to be a good deal if the discount is the same as paying by cash... If cash still gives better discount, might as well pay in full... Buy only what one can afford

To each his own I would say.

Some people believe in investing money, some believe in saving. Some buy term insurance and invest the rest while others buy whole life. It's pretty much a personal decision.

There are endless possibilities and who is to guarantee that one person who bought the watch on installment and decide to plonk the balance cash to punt in the stock market/casino/toto/4D won't strike it rich and get a free watch.

Then again, there are people who rely on appearance for a livinghood and this may open more doors to them and hence generate a positive ROI.

Interest free card installment options are good if you can pay half down and put the rest on monthly.
This way, the monthly payments are affordable and dont cause problems.
Can also get a bit of discount if u know the people.
It helps you to own and use something you desire immediately.
but do not* buy something more then you can really afford.

hi .. just for all information..

Seem that you can get the disc as well if you go on instalment..*was there yesterday*.
Aniway, dun see a problem with going on instalment either.. If i have 10k in the stock mkt, earning 2% return.. And i can take a instalment plan to buy my rollie.. I dun see why i shld sell my stock to buy.

Guess all depends on your current ratio ( asset/ liabilities). I dun believe in high leverage too..but to say that installment is no good.. isn't it like saying paying using credit card is bad..Actually its how you make use of the option...to our benefit.

Anyway.. just for the sake of discussion. . As long as paying by instalment does not forgo any disc benefits .
It make sense to pay by it , given its zero int.
Also.. the watches that are discussed here.. generally has a base resale value. Seriously, I take it more like a poor return saving plan.. hahaha

make perfect sense to go for 0% as not to hold up your cashflow..

Has anyone gone down to THG to see the spread of available watches? (If they are old or new models?)

                            Best regards,
                            Miss walking along Charles River......

Not bad what, 0% plan means I free up cash for other purpose also.. as long as no interest still worth it. otherwise how to afford..

If I fairly new to buying watches and dont know SA then how to get discounts?
