    Hi Guys anyone know where can I get ppl to convert LD to DVD?

    my guess is you would have to somehow rip the LD to your computer (using a graphics capture card); convert the format to DVD, and copy to disc.

      hahah.. i also got quite a few LD at hm.... LD player spolit liaos...

        I recently went to convert my parents' 30th anniversary VHS to VCD. 1hr $8
        to DVD 1hr $20

        They can convert LD to DVD also, but not sure how much. Call and ask them.

          i also got 2. one samsung spoil (transformer cactus), but the pioneer one is still strong
          if you are looking for LD player, let me know, maybe can source for you.

            I have plenty of LDs (used to compete in karaoke in my late teens / early twenties.... But duno where my parents hide them liao (cos sing too horribily) as the entire entertainment cabinet was changed during my two years of study abroad.. ;P

                eh, I am a lady..call me sis can already.. hehe..

                i am not sure if it is worth it or not, depends on the 'sentimental' value of your LD.

                But apparently the guy there seems to be doing a good job. Anyway, I never been to others so I am not sure if it is a good price or if their job is really good quality or not.

                    Just sharing ....

                    Actually what u can do IF you STILL HAVE A LD Player is to connect the output of the LD Player to your DVD Recorder.....then when u hit play on the LD at the same time Hit REC on your DVD Recorder........


                    This is how the shops do it.........but note....this is time consuming.
