I'm going from the 3rd april to 12 april... from fukuoka to tokyo..

IMO, its not worthwhile buying watches in Japan now. Yes Yen is too high to justify. Last year was a good year.

A suggestion for those going Japan to watch shop. Pick up a local mag from the airport bookstore, there will be addresses of the various preown and AD shops in Japan, mostly concentrated in Tokyo. A good mag like "Begin" or "Power Watch" is quite cheap at JPY 600 to 700.

Not all shops take credit cards and will insist on cash, like Quark (www.909.co.jp). And not all shops have a tax free policy too so check in advance.
