To me, the defination of ' expensive' means something that I over paid.. or do you mean literatelly ' High value' watchesPatek Phillipe Aquanaut 5167
Rolex Daydate 18038
Grand Seiko SBGX 059
Seiko Premier Chrono Alarm
Seiko Pepsi Diver SKX009K1
Casio Illuminator A168WA-1U

i feel it is not so much about how 'expensive' the watch is but whether you are able to carry off the feel of the watch?
When i was younger, i am satisfied with G-shocks and have never even consider a rolex or omega etc but when i got older, these watches start to creep onto my "want" list. I guess it comes with age and earning power.
Actually, I see some young kids wearing rolex etc but somehow the watch looks "kind of out place" on them due to their clothes and the way they carry themselves. It is the same as those women who carry expensive branded bags but their clothes look like they are going to the market or just woke up from bed.

I personally dont see anything wrong with this thread. Wouldnt it be interesting to know how much Singaporeans are willing to spend on a watch? Of course the term 'expensive' differs for different people, maybe the OP would like to know what others deem as expensive? Pics of course are always nice for any thread

maybe should make this a compulsory thing, etc like people who like to ask simple questions which can be google easily... they'll have to post their own findings before asking for answer here.

However carrying it off does not mean matching branded clothes and shoes.
Its more of the person's "air" and "charisma"
Same reason why money cannot buy style and true style doesnt need money.
